Friday’s Fantabulous Food!
This is a recipe I just have to share. I’ve made it several times before and I’m making it again today! It’s a Kraft dessert called Ice Cream Shop Pie. It’s extremely easy and delightfully delicious (gotta love the cheesy alliteration)!
There are only a handful of ingredients, and some are common pantry items. Ready for this?
– 1 cup Milk
– 1 Package Instant Pudding (Any flavor you like – Chocolate is my favorite)
– 1 1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip (I get Walmart’s brand – it’s only $1!)
– 1 (6 oz.) Graham Pie Crust
That’s it! Don’t you just love easy recipes with few ingredients?
Okay…pour your cup of milk in a bowl and slowly add the instant pudding. Using a whisk, mix well (there will probably still be some lumps – no worries). Add the whipped topping and stir with the whisk again. Pour the mixture into the graham pie crust and freeze for about 6 hours. If you’re impatient like I am, it doesn’t have to be 6 hours. A few ago, I only froze it for about 2-3 hours and it was fine.
This is great to take to parties or picnics, or for a quick dessert on a weeknight. I made two pies a few weeks ago for my lovely neighbor and friend as a birthday gift! Enjoy!
